Tucson GemFair 2012 Happy Hour and Dinner
Plan to attend our fun event at the Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant on Thursday, Feb. 2nd. Located at 198 West Cushing Street, across the street from the AGTA convention center. This event is complementary to current or new Southwest members who RSVP via email to jayne@jaystone-appraisals.com or call/text 512-992-9927. 
Also, a beautiful pearl necklace donated by The Color Source of Austin, TX will be awarded to a SW member. Bring your business cards and meet your associates!
All WJA members will be welcome for this event, if room allows, so stop in and see your friends from across the country for a quick drink or stay for dinner.

San Antonio, TX - Election of new Board Members and discussion of Southwest Chapter revitalization
The Southwest WJA is pleased to have Julie Shaw with Armenta (Houston) as our President. Julie assumed this position March 2011 and Jayne Schultz of JayStone Jewelry Appraisal Services (Austin) assumed the responsibility of Treasurer.

The 2012 Grant applications are now available on-line! The National board gives a $500 professional grant to a female member of each chapter every year.
Be sure to apply if you are a full standing member. (Student members are encouraged to apply for scholarships sometime around April.)
